Read this BBC article and tell me what you think about this case.

    I think the whole problem is that sense of "easing of official sensitivity" that is increasing. The waxwork itself is nothing if we think about all the sites that promote nazism, threat jews or are explicitly racists. And, guess what, the same thing can be said about the media. There is a general hostility towards "semitic" people, no matter if they are jews, muslims or simply from the Middle East, because we see them as the enemy in our society.
    I think that the decision was right, because if you cause a damage to a third-party good you have to pay for it. Moreover, the waxwork itself shouldn't be a problem in a really respectful society, as we all should recognize it simply as an image, and we are full of not educational images: the body of Stalin, or also many anorexic models, and other aggressive messages.
    In my opinion the problem is about the importance we give to that statue, and if we perceive it as a danger is because we are aware that a danger exists (while it shouldn't!).
